Kemi is located at the northern part of the Baltic Sea in the middle of the Bothnian Arc. Aeropolis
Aeropolis is located about two kilometers from the centre of Kemi and it extends to the city's northern boundaries. The Kemi highway runs through the area and carries about 20,000 vehicles a day. The area is well-suited for businesses requiring a large area to locate. Kemi-Tornio Airport is in the immediate vicinity of Aeropolis.
Kemintulli
Kemintulli is located at the intersection of the Kemi highway and Veitsiluototie road. The completion of the highway's new routing in 2009 will enable the opening of new business sites for businesses offering travel and transportation services.
Sarana
The Sarana business park is located right next to Lapland's deep-water harbour, Ajos, at the hub of excellent connections by sea, by land and by railway. Sarana has an area of 59 hectares, which is well-suited for logistics businesses and industrial SMEs. Stora Enso's Veitsiluoto plant is located near the area.
