Project overview

International Pointti is a three-year ESF+ project (08/2024–04/2027) targeting 18–65-year-old (non-Finnish citizens) immigrants living in Kemi, as well as service providers, employers, decision-makers, public authorities, educational institutions, municipal organisations and third sector actors working with them, such as organisations, associations and foundations.

The International Pointti project is a reliable partner

The International Pointti project engages in systematic cooperation with regional and national actors, strengthening immigrants’ participation, the accessibility of services and the flow of information.

These partnerships support joint communication and services, low-threshold pop-up events, and client guidance towards various services: employment, education, entrepreneurship and integration.

The IP project works in close collaboration with Pointti’s multisectoral network of actors, the Sea Lapland employment area and integration experts, as well as the City of Kemi’s immigration services, educational institutions, projects and organisations such as the Mikseri Multicultural Centre.

Clients are also referred to social, educational and cultural services as part of the overall integration process.
